Cyber Defence · Gauteng, South Africa

Defence is architecture, not an afterthought.

Security decisions made after a system is built are always more expensive, and less effective, than the ones made before it. We design for both from day one.

How it's structured

Five layers, each one assuming the others might fail.

No single control is treated as sufficient on its own — the layers are designed to overlap.

01

Perimeter & network

Traffic reaches your systems through a controlled, minimal surface — the fewer doors, the fewer things to guard.

02

Access & identity

Every user and service is authenticated individually. Roles determine what can be seen and changed, and by whom.

03

Application

Input is validated, actions are checked against permissions, and mutations run through controlled, auditable paths.

04

Data

Data is protected at rest and in transit, with access scoped as tightly as the business process allows.

05

Monitoring

Systems are watched on an ongoing basis, so unusual activity is noticed rather than discovered after the fact.

What this covers

The practices behind every build.

Security architecture

Decided at design time, not patched on after launch.

Access control

Role-based permissions scoped to what each person actually needs.

Authentication

Verified identity for every user and every service connection.

Vulnerability assessment

Regular review of where a system could realistically be misused.

Hardening

Configuration reduced to what's needed, and nothing more.

Secure infrastructure

Hosting, backups and environments configured to a consistent standard.

Monitoring

Ongoing visibility into how systems are actually being used.

Secure integrations

Connections between systems built with the same scrutiny as the systems themselves.

We build and configure systems to reduce risk at every layer above. We don't issue regulated security certifications, and we won't claim a system is unbreakable — no one honestly can. What we commit to is treating security as part of the engineering from the outset, and reviewing it on an ongoing basis rather than once at launch.
